Vol. 000. The Origin

The line you have to take.

It started on the last day of a vacation in Cancun.

Not with a business plan. With a feeling, and the sense that the best parts of a year shouldn't have to fit inside one week of it.

In disc golf, a mando is a mandatory line. Two markers. One way through. You don't get to choose it and you don't get to go around it. You take the line, or you take the penalty.

Sitting there on the last day, the line was obvious.

Build a life with more of the things that actually feel like something.

For me it's the moment after a pure shot. A long putt dropping. A course I've never walked, somewhere outside, early enough that nobody else is on it yet.

For you it might be a trailhead at sunrise. The water at the hour it finally goes still. The first cool morning of the year. A song in the right place at the right time.

The moment belongs to you. The feeling is the same one.

This was never about going pro. It was never about the trophy. It was about that feeling, and being able to go get more of it, provide for my family, and leave something behind that outlasts me.

What we're building

Every volume is a place. We start with the location and design the tee around what it feels like to be there.

The long version is a catalog of the places worth going in this country. You pull one on and you're back there. Or you haven't been yet, and the shirt is the reason you finally go.

Either way it's the same idea. You're not wearing a logo. You're wearing a place.
